FAQ

The event

What is the Firies Climb for MND?

The Firies Climb for MND is an annual event where firefighters climb Sydney Tower Eye to raise money and awareness for motor neurone disease (MND) research at Macquarie University.

When is the Climb in 2021?

The date for the 2021 Firies Climb for MND will be coming soon.

I’m not a firefighter, can I climb?

The Climb is a closed event and open only to operational firefighters over 18 years of age. There are other ways to get involved like becoming a volunteer or an ambassador.

Why is the event for firefighters only?

We have to restrict this due to insurance, OH+S, and liability requirements. The Climb is more challenging and riskier than it may look. We work very hard to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the Climb.

Registration

When can I register?
